GEK Attorneys Named 2011 Southern California Super Lawyers - Rising Star
Adam Dombchik, Steve Scardino and Erika Vargas—Workers' Compensation attorneys with the law firm of Gordon, Edelstein, Krepack, Grant, Felton & Goldstein, LLP—have been included on the 2011 list of Southern California Super Lawyers - Rising Stars. This annual list of up-and-coming attorneys under age 40 is published by Law & Politics magazine.
Selections are made by the research team at Super Lawyers, a service of the Thomson Reuters Legal Division. The process includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by the attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area and a good-standing and disciplinary check. This is a prestigious honor as only a few are chosen. In fact, only 2.5 percent of licensed, practicing attorneys in Southern California meeting established requirements receive the designation. The firm is proud and honored to have these rising stars assisting our clients and educating the community about injured workers’ rights.
About Super Lawyers
Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters service, rates attorneys in more than 70 practice areas who have earned a high level of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selection is a multi-step process. Attorneys are nominated by their peers, researched independently by the Super Lawyers staff, and evaluated by a panel of practicing lawyers. No more than 5 percent of the lawyers in each state are named to the annual list, and no one can pay to be included. A separate Rising Stars list recognizes attorneys who are 40 or younger, or who have practiced for 10 years or less. No more than 2.5 percent of a state’s lawyers receive that honor.

GEKLAW’s workers’ compensation attorneys practice as applicant’s attorneys, representing injured workers and never employers or insurance companies.
