Roger L. Gordon nominated "Trial Lawyer of the Year" |
LOS ANGELES — Roger L. Gordon, a partner with the personal injury and workers' compensation firm of Gordon, Edelstein, Krepack, Grant, Felton & Goldstein, has been nominated for Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. Currently in his 33rd year of practice, Mr. Gordon is recognized by his peers and the legal community for obtaining groundbreaking verdicts in toxic tort, products liability, construction accidents, premises liability, and medical malpractice.
"Working with Roger for more than 25 years, I've seen the remarkable track record of success," said Howard Krepack, co-managing partner. "It's gratifying to see a friend and colleague acknowledged in the legal community for his accomplishments."
Each year, the CAALA Board of Governors reviews member submissions based on a variety of criteria: number of cases case; dollar amount obtained in each case and total for the year; and the significance for each verdict. Other factors considered are the individual's contributions and involvement in the trial bar. The awards will be presented at the annual CAALA Installation Dinner Dance at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 20, 2007.
Mr. Gordon earned his law degree from Loyola University in 1972. He is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, Consumer Attorneys of California, American Board of Trial Advocates and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Mr. Gordon is admitted in the State of California; the United States District Court, Central District of California; the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He has also served as arbitrator in medical malpractice cases.
